Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif blamed India for the suicide blast outside an Islamabad court that killed 12 people, without providing any evidence. He also alleged New Delhi's involvement in Monday's attack on a Wana cadet college near the Afghanistan border, claiming "Indian-sponsored terrorist proxies" aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. Sharif accused the Afghan Taliban of acting as "India's proxy," linking TTP attacks to India. Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif declared the country "in a state of war," calling the Islamabad bombing a "wake-up call" and directly blaming Kabul's Taliban rulers. The allegations came within hours of the blast, as Pakistan continues its pattern of blaming India for domestic terrorism. (PC: X & News18)

Pakistan has raised security to unprecedented levels following Monday's deadly Red Fort Metro blast that killed eight people in Delhi. The country issued a Red Alert for all airbases and airfields based on intelligence warnings suggesting heightened risks of retaliatory actions or cross-border escalation from India. Pakistan's Army, Navy, and Air Force have been placed on high alert as the situation remains volatile. Central Command directed all military branches to monitor developments and prepare for eventualities. Pakistan Air Force activated air defence systems and ordered jets at forward bases ready for immediate takeoff. Sources indicate these measures respond to concerns over possible pre-emptive strikes or retaliation from India following the terror attack. (PC: NDTV)

US President Donald Trump announced plans to reduce tariffs on Indian imports, signaling progress toward a “fair deal” with India. Speaking during Sergio Gor’s swearing-in as US Ambassador to India, Trump linked high tariffs to India’s past oil trade with Russia, claiming New Delhi has “substantially stopped” purchases. In August, Trump doubled tariffs to 50%, citing India’s Moscow energy ties as leverage against Russia’s war in Ukraine. Despite India denying Trump’s earlier claim of assurances from PM Modi, negotiations continue. Trump emphasized the new deal would differ from past “unfair” agreements, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent backing his stance, accusing India of profiting from Russian oil sales.
