Mumbai has been named the happiest city in Asia for 2025, according to Time Out’s City Life Index. The survey, which included over 18,000 people, found that 94% of Mumbaikars said their city makes them happy. Residents praised Mumbai’s culture, food, and strong sense of community. Beijing and Shanghai took the second and third spots with 93% and 92% satisfaction. Chiang Mai and Hanoi also ranked in the top five for their peaceful and friendly lifestyles.
