The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has blocked 18 streaming platforms, 19 websites, 10 apps, and 57 social media accounts for distributing "obscene, vulgar, and pornographic content." This action is in accordance with various sections of the law, including the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, the Indian Penal Code, and the Information Technology Act.
