Telugu filmmaker Surya Kiran, recognized for directing hits like 'Satyam' and 'Dhana 51', passed away at 48. Starting as a child actor in Malayalam, he later directed over 200 films. Kiran succumbed to jaundice after treatment at Chennai’s GEM hospital. Besides filmmaking, he participated in Bigg Boss Telugu. His latest project, 'Arasi', starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, is set for release. Originally from Kerala, Kiran's sister Sujitha Dhanush is also an actress. He was previously married to actress Kalyani.
