The death toll in the Saket building collapse in South Delhi has risen to four as rescue teams continue searching through debris more than 18 hours after the incident. The multi-storey structure in Saidulajab, near Saket Metro Station, collapsed on Saturday evening, trapping several people, including students and workers. Multiple agencies, including the NDRF, Delhi Fire Services, police, and civic authorities, have been involved in the rescue effort. Several injured victims were rushed to hospitals for treatment. Following the tragedy, authorities suspended two Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) engineers and ordered an investigation into possible negligence and structural safety violations. (PC: X)
