Indian gymnast Pranati Nayak bagged a Bronze medal in vault at the World Challenge Cup in Hungary, a major boost ahead of the Asian Games. The two-time Asian Championships medallist tied for third place with Greece's Athanasia Mesiri with an overall score of 12.966 points. In the tie-break, Nayak registered 13.066 versus Mesiri's 13.000 to clinch the Bronze. The 28-year-old Nayak performed a backward Tsukahara 720 vault, scoring 13.066 and 12.866 in her two attempts. Nayak's determined performance earned India a podium finish at the prestigious World Challenge Cup event.
