Suvendu Adhikari took oath as West Bengal’s first BJP Chief Minister at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several NDA leaders. Alongside Adhikari, five ministers were inducted into the new Bengal cabinet, including senior BJP leaders Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Nisith Pramanik, Kshudiram Tudu, and Ashok Kirtania. Agnimitra Paul became the only woman minister in the initial cabinet lineup.
