Suvendu Adhikari will take oath as the new Chief Minister of West Bengal today. He was chosen as leader of the BJP legislature party after the party won 207 of 294 seats in the Assembly elections. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are expected to attend the ceremony in Kolkata. Adhikari said the people have given the BJP a historic mandate. He promised to fulfil all election promises. He becomes the first BJP leader and the ninth person to serve as Chief Minister of West Bengal. (PC: ANI)
