Union Home Minister Amit Shah called the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) victory in West Bengal a “historic win.” He said, “This is a resounding response to those who spread fear and appeasement.” Shah thanked voters and praised Narendra Modi’s leadership. He said people chose trust over fear. The BJP won a clear majority in the Assembly polls. The Trinamool Congress (TMC), led by Mamata Banerjee, faced a big defeat. Shah said the party will work hard to build “Sonar Bangla.” He added that workers’ sacrifices helped achieve this victory. (PC: PTI)
