The UAE asked allies for help during Iranian attacks, and Israel responded by sending an Iron Dome air defence system, according to a report. Israeli troops were also sent to operate the system. Officials said the move came after a call between Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed. The system reportedly helped intercept dozens of missiles. Iran had launched hundreds of missiles and drones at the UAE, officials said. The report added that the crisis strengthened ties between United Arab Emirates and Israel. (PC: AFP)
