Trump Unhurt, Suspect Arrested After Gunfire at White House Correspondents' Dinner

Donald Trump was unharmed after gunshots were fired at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington DC. The incident took place around 20:35 ET. Trump was quickly moved to safety by security teams.   The suspect, identified as Cole Tomas Allen, was stopped by the Secret Service and taken into custody. Police said he is expected to be formally charged.   One Secret Service officer was shot at close range but survived due to a protective vest.   An attendee said, “We all crawled under our table for what felt like a long time.” (PC: BBC)
