A man killed seven of his children and another child in a mass shooting in Shreveport, police said. Officers described the case as a domestic disturbance. The children were aged between one and 14 years old. Police said the suspect, identified as Shamar Elkins, first shot a woman on the street before going to a nearby home. He then killed eight children inside the house. Two women, including the children’s mother, were critically injured. Police said the suspect fled in a stolen car after the attack.
