Two US Navy destroyers crossed the Strait of Hormuz on April 11 without informing Iran. The move came as talks between the two sides were taking place in Islamabad with Pakistan mediating.   Reports said an earlier US ship had turned back after Iran warned it could be hit within 30 minutes. The later transit was completed without incident.   US President Donald Trump said, “We are now starting the process of clearing out” the strait. The waterway remains a key pressure point for Iran. Tehran has not issued an official response yet. (PC: X)
