A 51-year-old Indian man visiting Canada has been convicted of criminally harassing two teenage girls in Ontario. Jagjit Singh arrived in July on a six-month visa to meet his newborn grandchild. Police said he repeatedly approached girls outside a high school between September 8 and 11, tried taking photos with them, and entered their personal space. One girl pushed him away after he tried to put his arm around her. Singh was arrested twice and later pleaded guilty to criminal harassment. A judge ordered his deportation and banned him from returning to Canada. He also received three years’ probation with strict restrictions. (PC: X/@TheDeportReport)
