At the Dubai Air Show 2025, Russia’s Rostec and United Aircraft Corporation offered India full technology transfer and licensed production of its Su-57 fifth-generation stealth fighter. The deal would allow India to build the aircraft domestically in phases, including engines, AESA radar, stealth components, AI systems, and weapons integration. Vadim Badekha of UAC said India’s technical demands are “completely acceptable.” The move comes ahead of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s December visit to India, underscoring deepening defence ties.
