Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly penned an emotional message for her brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, detained in UAE since September 2024. She wrote she hasn't "slept a single night without crying" and would "give up everything" for him. Last week, Delhi High Court directed authorities to provide legal assistance to the veteran army officer from 3 Para Special Forces, recipient of COAS Commendation for Gallantry. Celina hailed the ruling as a "ray of hope" after 14 arduous months. Her petition stated Indian authorities hadn't provided clear information on his welfare.
