US President Donald Trump told the UN General Assembly that China and India are the “primary funders” of Russia’s war in Ukraine by buying its oil. He said the conflict would have ended in days if he had been president earlier. Trump also criticised NATO nations for not fully cutting energy ties with Moscow. He warned of new tariffs on countries continuing Russian oil trade. Weeks ago, his administration raised tariffs on Indian oil imports to 50 per cent. Trump repeated his claim of ending “seven wars in seven months,” including the India-Pakistan conflict, which India has denied. (PC: Reuters)
