India and Canada continue rebuilding diplomatic ties following appointment of new high commissioners Dinesh Patnaik (Ottawa) and Christopher Cooter (New Delhi). The diplomatic reset gained momentum after Canadian PM Mark Carney met PM Modi at June's G7 summit in Kananaskis.
