A 9-year-old Indian-origin boy was injured in a stone attack by a 15-year-old in Cork, Ireland. The child suffered a deep head wound and was rushed to hospital. His family said the assault was racially motivated. Police have identified the teenager, known locally for creating trouble, and started an investigation. The Ireland India Council condemned the attack, saying it would cause lifelong trauma. Recently, the Indian Embassy in Dublin warned of rising attacks on Indians.
