At least 4 people have died and several are missing after a massive cloudburst triggered flash floods in Dharali village, Uttarkashi, on Tuesday. Homes, hotels, and roads were swept away along the Gangotri pilgrimage route. Hours later, a second cloudburst struck nearby Sukhi. Rescue operations are underway with the Army, ITBP, NDRF, and SDRF deployed. PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh assured full assistance. CM Dhami said the situation is being closely monitored. The Badrinath National Highway was also blocked due to landslide debris. Locals have been advised to stay away from rivers and exercise extreme caution. (PC: X)
