The Indian Embassy in Dublin has warned Indian citizens to "take reasonable precautions" after a brutal attack on Santosh Yadav, an Indian data scientist. Yadav was beaten by a group of teenagers near his home. “They snatched my glasses and beat me till I was bleeding,” he said. He suffered a fractured cheekbone. Calling it a racist attack, he added, “This is not an isolated incident.” The Embassy noted a rise in assaults on Indians and urged people to avoid deserted places, especially at odd hours. “We are in touch with Irish authorities,” the advisory said, offering help and emergency contacts.
