A British Royal Navy F-35B fighter jet, stranded in Kerala for nearly a month, is now being repaired. The jet made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport on June 14 due to a technical problem. A team of UK aviation engineers has arrived to assess and fix the jet. On Sunday, the jet was moved to a special hangar at the airport. The UK team brought special tools for the job. The British High Commission thanked Indian authorities for their support. Talks are ongoing to finalise repair arrangements at the airport’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. (PC: News18)
