A British Airways flight to Chennai returned to London’s Heathrow Airport on Sunday due to a technical problem. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had taken off at 1:16 pm after a short delay. It circled over the Strait of Dover before heading back as a safety step. The airline said the flight landed safely, and all passengers got off normally. British Airways is now helping travellers continue their journey. In a separate case, a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Hyderabad also turned back mid-air. The exact reason is not yet known.
