Calling it “one of the worst aviation disasters,” Trump said, “India is strong, but we’re ready to help immediately.” The Boeing 787 crashed five minutes after take-off, striking a hospital hostel. Trump added, “It looked like engine failure—no explosion.” He offered technical aid and investigation support. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are overseeing rescue efforts.
