US President Donald Trump expressed deep sorrow over the Air India Flight AI171 crash in Ahmedabad that killed over 200 people. Calling it “one of the worst aviation disasters,” Trump said, “India is strong, but we’re ready to help immediately.” The Boeing 787 crashed five minutes after take-off, striking a hospital hostel. Trump added, “It looked like engine failure—no explosion.” He offered technical aid and investigation support. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are overseeing rescue efforts.
