Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has invited PM Narendra Modi to the G7 Summit in Alberta from June 15 to 17. Carney said, "India is central to a number of supply chains and should be at the table for key global talks." He said the decision was made after discussions with other G7 leaders. Critics questioned the invite due to the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Carney responded, "There is a legal process underway and it’s not right to comment on it."
