Air India will stop using Turkish Technic for aircraft maintenance. CEO Campbell Wilson said the airline wants to respect public feeling. This follows Turkey’s support for Pakistan during recent tensions. India has already blocked IndiGo from using Turkish aircraft and cancelled clearance for Turkey-linked Celebi. Some Air India planes will now go to Abu Dhabi, Singapore, or be serviced in India. Due to Pakistan’s airspace ban, flights to North America are taking longer and costing more. Wilson said only a few nonstop routes are affected. The airline hopes things return to normal soon, but for now, changes are needed. (PC: NDTV)
