The U.S. government has warned international students, including Indians, that dropping out or skipping classes may lead to visa revocation and future ineligibility. The U.S. Embassy in India emphasized adherence to visa terms to avoid issues. This follows a major deportation drive earlier this year. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also warned Optional Practical Training (OPT) visa holders to report employment within 90 days to maintain legal status. Amid these crackdowns, several U.S. colleges advised international students against traveling outside the U.S. to prevent visa cancellations.
