Marnus Labuschagne revealed in his latest newsletter My World Cup Final Wrap, how Indian players sledged him after Steve Smith's wicket brought his arrival at 47/3. Virat Kohli clapped sarcastically and said some words when Labuschagne reached the crease along with a long stare between overs. But the Australian claims the hostility did not impact him due to the noise from a cheering 92,000+ crowd. Labuschagne said, "It was so loud and the wave of momentum India had was immense. The Indian team were getting into me and all I could say back, and very truthfully at that, was 'I actually can't hear what you're saying over the crowd'.
