India has formally requested additional S-400 missile defence systems from Russia after the successful performance of the platform during Operation Sindoor. The Russian-made S-400, known as the 'Sudarshan Chakra' in India, played a crucial role in intercepting Pakistani missiles and drones, demonstrating its effectiveness in countering aerial threats. The systems can track and target objects up to 600 km away and intercept at 400 km. Following the success, India has sought more units to strengthen its air defence capabilities, with Russia expected to approve the request soon. (PC: India Today)
