Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus has called for an integrated economic plan linking Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and India's northeastern states. During a meeting with Nepal's Deputy Speaker, Yunus emphasized cross-border collaboration in sectors like hydropower, healthcare, and infrastructure. Highlighting the potential of regional ties, Yunus discussed projects such as the recent Bangladesh-Nepal-India Tripartite Power Sales Agreement and a 1,000-bed hospital in Rangpur aimed at regional health security.
