Satellite images from Chinese firm MIZAZVISION have confirmed substantial damage to Pakistan’s Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi following precision Indian strikes during Operation Sindoor. The base, critical to Pakistan’s transport and strategic airlift capabilities, houses C-130 Hercules, IL-78 refuelers, and VIP aircraft. Strikes also hit airbases at Murid and Rafiqui, as acknowledged by Pakistan Army spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif. The escalation followed the Pahalgam terror attack, prompting a four-day exchange of fire. A ceasefire was later announced, with India confirming talks were limited to military channels, countering US claims of broader negotiations. (PC: India Today)
