China has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Pakistan amid escalating tensions with India. In a phone call with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi praised Pakistan's restraint and responsible approach. He emphasized that China, as Pakistan's "All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partner" and "iron-clad friend," will continue to stand firmly by Pakistan in upholding its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national independence. This conversation coincided with a US-brokered ceasefire between India and Pakistan following recent cross-border hostilities. Additionally, Dar engaged with foreign ministers from the UAE and Turkey, both of whom welcomed the ceasefire and expressed support for regional stability.
