India's "Operation Sindoor" launched on May 7, 2025, led to the neutralization of several high-profile terrorists linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Among those killed were Mudassar Khadian Khas (Abu Jundal), the chief of LeT's Muridke headquarters, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel, a close associate of JeM's Maulana Masood Azhar, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar (Ustad Ji), Masood Azhar's brother-in-law, Khalid (Abu Akasha), an important LeT operative involved in Kashmir operations, and Mohammad Hassan Khan, a senior JeM commander. These strikes were part of India’s continued efforts to dismantle cross-border terror infrastructure. (PC: CNBC TV 18)
