In a significant escalation of India-Pakistan tensions, the Indian Army successfully neutralised over 50 Pakistani drones attempting to infiltrate Indian airspace along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border. The large-scale counter-drone operation was conducted across Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota, and Pathankot. Armed forces deployed advanced air defence systems including L-70 guns, Zu-23mm, Schilka systems, and other modern counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) technology. The operation highlights India’s enhanced preparedness and robust capability to combat aerial threats amid increased drone incursions from Pakistan’s side. No casualties or damages were reported.
