External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar delivered a powerful one-line message following India’s launch of Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. “The world must show zero tolerance for terrorism,” he declared on social media, underlining India’s stance. Operation Sindoor targeted nine terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir used by Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Hizbul Mujahideen. The strikes were in response to the April 22 massacre of 26 civilians in Pahalgam. Jaishankar also spoke to UN Security Council non-permanent members to garner global support.
