India’s precision airstrikes under "Operation Sindoor" have caused major disruptions in northern India’s airspace, impacting commercial aviation services. Air India canceled all flights to and from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, and other key cities until noon on May 7, 2025. IndiGo and SpiceJet issued advisories about expected delays and cancellations. The Srinagar airfield was shut by the Airports Authority of India, while Qatar Airways suspended flights to Pakistan. These measures were implemented following India’s strikes on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, amid heightened military alert and escalating regional tensions.
