India launched precision strikes on nine terrorist infrastructure sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor. The strikes targeted terrorist camps in Muridke, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bahawalpur, resulting in the deaths of 12 terrorists and injuries to 55. India’s defense ministry confirmed that no Pakistani military facilities were hit, following a non-escalatory approach. The operation came in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval briefed the US counterpart on the operation’s objectives and outcomes.
