Amid escalating tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari issued a sharp warning to India, saying Pakistan is ready for war if provoked. Reacting strongly to India's stance on the Indus Waters Treaty, Bhutto claimed Pakistan will not accept any Indian move that undermines its water rights. “If India attacks Sindhu (Indus), prepare for war,” he declared, adding, “Either water will flow, or blood.” He accused India of aggressive behavior and insisted that the Indus River belongs to both nations equally, emphasizing Pakistan’s historical claim and emotional ties to the river.
