A Pakistani father has made an emotional plea to Indian and Pakistani authorities, requesting permission to complete his children’s life-saving treatment in New Delhi. “They have a heart condition... their treatment was possible in New Delhi,” he told Geo News, as SAARC visa privileges were suspended following the Pahalgam terror attack. His 9- and 7-year-old children suffer from congenital heart defects, with surgery scheduled next week. Despite hospital support, authorities have ordered their return to Pakistan. “I appeal to the governments... we have spent around ₹10 million on travel and treatment,” he added, urging compassion amidst political fallout.
