India's Top Order Collapses As India Bat First, For The First Time In World Cup 2023 Against England

As India looks to continue it's unbeaten streak in World Cup 2023, against England, the team was put to test, as it batted first, for the first time in the tournament, having won all other matches while chasing. The test, seemed a daunting one, as India's top order faced an imminent collapse as Shubhnam Gill and Virat Kohli went for a duck, Shreyas Iyer scored 4. Rohit Sharma seems to carry the team, batting on 83, at the time of writing, with India at 143/4 in 33 overs. This is the first time, India was sent out to put on a target, however, the top order was a let down, only proving the criticism true that the team relies a bit too much on Rohit and Virat.
