Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are divorcing after two years of marriage. Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The couple, dubbed Bennifer, married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and had a larger ceremony in Georgia the following month. They first met in 2003 while working on Gigli and planned to marry in 2004 but broke up. They rekindled their relationship almost 20 years later. The court filing requires Lopez or her attorney to notify Affleck with a copy of the petition to dissolve their marriage.
