The sci-fi epic "Kalki 2898 AD" starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone has crossed the Rs 1000-crore mark in worldwide collections, entering its third week of release. On day 16, the film earned Rs 5.2 crore in India, taking its domestic total to Rs 548.75 crore. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film has joined the elite club of Indian films that have achieved this feat, including "Jawan" and "Pathaan", both starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film's success is a testament to its stellar performance at the box office, with eyes now on Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" to follow suit.
