India's race towards a historic 100-medal mark at the Asian Games 2023 seems to be going strong. Till now India has bagged 86 medals- 21 gold, 32 silver, and 33 bronze. Saurav Ghosal clinched silver in squash, marking India's fifth medal in the sport at this year's Asian Games. Wrestler Antim Panghal secured bronze in the 53 kg category. However, Mansi and Pooja faced defeats in wrestling, while Naveen missed a bronze in Greco-Roman wrestling. The Indian men's kabaddi team dominated Japan, ending the group stage impressively. Earlier on Day 12, archers Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Aditi Gopichand Swami, and Parneet Kaur secured a gold medal in compound women's team archery. Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Sandhu clinched a gold medal in the squash mixed team finals.
