Darshan, Pavithra, and 14 others were arrested for allegedly murdering a fan. Babu stated that Vijayalakshmi is Darshan's legally wedded wife, and there has been no second marriage. He also claimed that Darshan had no connection with the victim and was not involved in the murder. The police have seized two cars, including Darshan's Jeep, which was spotted near the crime scene. Babu has denied any evidence linking Darshan to the murder.
