On the 12th day of Asian games 2023, India clinched their 19th gold medal in Hangzhou, with a thrilling victory in the compound women's team archery final against Chinese Taipei. Archers Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Aditi Gopichand Swami, and Parneet Kaur secured a narrow 230-229 win. In badminton, HS Prannoy advanced to the quarterfinals, while PV Sindhu faced disappointment, losing in straight games to China's He Bingjiao.
