Stree 2 Surpasses Pathaan, Becomes Second Highest-Grossing Hindi Film in India

Amar Kaushik's Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film in India, surpassing Pathaan. On Sunday, the film’s box office total reached ₹527 crore nett, surpassing Pathaan's ₹524.53 crore. Stree 2 had previously beaten the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 to claim the third spot. Currently, only Jawan, another Shah Rukh Khan starrer, remains ahead at ₹582.31 crore. Released on August 15, Stree 2 continues the supernatural tale of the haunted town of Chanderi. Despite competition, the film has cemented its blockbuster status at the Indian box office.
