Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency has received a UA certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after being asked to cut scenes and add disclaimers. The film, which was initially scheduled to release on September 6, 2024, faced objections from Sikh organizations regarding its portrayal of the Sikh community. The film's release date has been postponed, and a new date has not yet been finalized. Ranaut, also the film’s director and producer, shared her disappointment with fans, citing the certification delay as the reason for postponing the release.
