President Donald Trump alleged he was the victim of a "triple sabotage" during his appearance at the United Nations General Assembly on September 23, 2025. He reported that an escalator malfunctioned, a teleprompter failed, and the sound system malfunctioned during his speech. Trump asserted that these incidents were deliberate acts of sabotage and called for the arrest of those responsible. The Secret Service is reportedly investigating the matter. UN officials explained that the escalator's safety mechanism was triggered by a videographer from the U.S. delegation, and the teleprompter was operated by the White House. Regarding the sound issue, the system was designed for translation via earpieces, not for direct amplification.  

Inderjeet Singh Gosal, a top aide of designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has been arrested in Whitby, Ontario, for possessing unlicensed firearms and careless use of a handgun. Gosal, 36, organised Khalistan referendum rallies in Canada and became prominent after the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He appeared in court with associates Arman Singh and Jagdeep Singh. Gosal previously faced assault charges linked to a 2024 temple attack. The arrest comes days after India and Canada agreed to strengthen counter-terrorism cooperation. Fremont police have charged 29-year-old Varun Suresh with murder for fatally stabbing 71-year-old convicted sex offender David Brimmer. Suresh allegedly planned the attack using California’s public sex offender database. He posed as a CPA to gain access to Brimmer’s home, then chased and stabbed him, killing him on the spot. After his arrest, Suresh admitted he felt no remorse and called the act “really fun,” saying he believed it was his duty to punish sex offenders. The World Health Organization (WHO) has rejected US President Donald Trump’s claim that paracetamol use during pregnancy may cause autism. WHO said there is no scientific evidence linking the painkiller to the disorder. “Extensive research over the past decade shows no consistent association,” the agency stated. Trump had also linked vaccines to autism and suggested vitamin B9 (leucovorin) as a treatment, which experts strongly rejected.
