India Says ‘No Discussion’ With US on Coalition to Reopen Strait of Hormuz

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We are aware this matter is being discussed bilaterally by several countries. We have had no such bilateral discussion yet.” He was responding to questions about whether India could send naval ships to help reopen the key waterway. The strait carries about 20% of the world’s oil supply. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said India’s talks with Iran have helped some Indian ships pass through the strait. 10 Patients Killed in Fire at SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack; Short Circuit Suspected
