Newly released documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case show that an Indian girl was listed among victims and US officials tried to trace her for compensation support. An internal email dated January 13, 2020 mentioned efforts to locate her in India. Officials wrote that they would work with the US embassy if her address and contact details were found. The email subject read “Epstein Victims” and several parts were blacked out. The message also explained steps for victim compensation claims. Afghanistan chased the target and won by five wickets. Ibrahim Zadran made 53, while Azmatullah Omarzai scored an unbeaten 40 to seal the result. Rashid reached the mark in 513 innings. Two female soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces were rescued by police after being chased by a crowd of ultra-Orthodox men in Bnei Brak near Tel Aviv. Videos showed the women running as officers formed a protective line. Police said 23 people were arrested. Stun grenades were used to break up the crowd. Three officers were injured and police vehicles were damaged. Reports said the soldiers were wrongly suspected of delivering draft notices. The IDF said they were on a home visit to another soldier. The Supreme Court of India on Monday refused to hear pleas seeking action against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over a viral video that allegedly shows him firing a rifle at images of people from a community. The bench asked petitioners to approach the Gauhati High Court instead. Judges said, “Why haven't you gone to the Gauhati High Court? Don’t undermine its authority.” The court called it a “disturbing trend” that such matters come directly to it before elections. The Baloch Liberation Army, a separatist militant group, said it is holding seven Pakistani security personnel and has given Islamabad seven days to agree to a prisoner exchange. In a statement and video message, the group warned the detainees could face execution if talks do not begin. It said the men were captured during what it called “Operation Herof.” The group claimed 17 personnel were detained in total and 10 were later released as they were ethnic Baloch police staff. A Pakistan cricket supporter was filmed smashing his television after his team’s 61-run loss to India in the T20 World Cup match in Colombo. The video spread widely on social media soon after the game ended. The fan shared the clip himself and wrote, “India beat Pakistan again and I just broke my TV set in frustration.” In another post, he added he felt “completely broken, ashamed, and in shock.” India scored 175 for seven and bowled Pakistan out for 114 in 18 overs. India will host the AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi from Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event at Bharat Mandapam. The summit will bring global tech leaders, startups and policymakers together.   Day one will focus on AI for road safety, learning, jobs and judicial reforms. Experts will discuss how AI can reduce accidents, improve skills and speed up court cases.   A special session will highlight AI in agriculture and climate resilience.   The Expo will feature over 300 pavilions and 600 startups. The theme is “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya.”

At least seven workers were killed in a fire at a chemical factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, on Monday. The incident happened in the Khushkhera-Karoli industrial area.   Officials said nine workers were trapped inside the unit. So far, seven bodies have been recovered. Two workers are still trapped. Rescue teams are working at the site.   Additional District Magistrate Sumita Mishra said police noticed the fire during a routine patrol.
